Dr. Lalwani did his post-graduation (MS) in general surgery at Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College in Ajmer.  Dr. Shailendra Lalwani got his DNB in surgical gastroenterology in the Department of Surgical Gastroenterology and Liver Transplantation from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi, India. Currently, He is a HOD and consultant - Liver transplantation & Hepato-biliary surgery at Manipal Hospital, New Delhi, India.
